Surface Technology - Literally

I for one… Would love to see us immersed in such technology. The depth of interaction would be such that learning would be simplified so much.

    Technology is becoming more and more simpler everyday, for the end user. Do you think they will come out with a more complex but visually appealing UI, or do they approach it in a more simple, easy, and direct way?

    The UI in the video isn’t easy. Try figuring out the procedures and logic behind the way they implement the technology. Freaks me out.

    ::On the possibilities

    The video is in fact a vision of the future. With the line “What if…” leading every scene of it.

    As of the moment, there are no portable surface UI technologies that can do the stuff in the video.

    Although… It would be exciting when such technology comes into wide use. Imagine what classes would be like if teachers can manipulate their whiteboards in a wide range of interactions. They’d be able to draw, compute, show videos, do interactive quizzes, and much more on one interface.

    Freaks me out too. Heheh.
